How do I set a "Date of Removal" for a Managing Director?
If the term of a Managing Director has ended, it is important to officially remove them from their position. In Fides, you can easily set a "Date of Removal" to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date. Follow these steps to complete the process:
1. Navigate to the relevant committee and select the "Overview" tab. Click on the 3-dot menu and choose "Edit members".
2. Click on the "Remove" button next to the Managing Director you wish to remove.
3. Select the appropriate "Date of Removal" from the calendar or type it.
4. The removed committee member will now be shown with the tag "Terminated".
When you now use the Time Travel feature, you will clearly see the exact date of the removal displayed in the historical records.
