Setting up a Fides account as a Shareholder
Dear Shareholder,
You have been invited to Fides because one of your portfolio companies uses Fides as its corporate governance platform. As a result, you should have received an invitation to Fides by email.
This article explains:
Why should you create a Fides account?
- Creating a shareholder account is completely free of charge.
- Your portfolio company uses Fides to draft, review, approve, and sign resolutions. By creating a Fides account, you can participate in these processes digitally, making collaboration more efficient for your portfolio company, your fellow shareholders, and yourself.
- As a shareholder you can only participate in the shareholder resolutions once you have your own Fides account.
If you are interested in using Fides for your own organization, we would be delighted to welcome you as a customer as you begin your journey of digitizing and streamlining your corporate governance processes. To learn more, please visit our website or book a demo.
What do you need to do?
- If you have received your invitation email, you're ready to get started.
- Open the email, click Create new account, and set up your password.
What happens next?
Once you have logged in, you will see the dashboard for your investment vehicle.
- Only you and any additional members you invite to your company account will have access to this space. To participate in your portfolio company's resolutions, simply select Resolutions from the sidebar or from your personal workspace.
- Please note that access to the full range of Fides features is available for a limited period. After that, we would be happy to welcome you as a full Fides customer. Your ability to participate in your portfolio company’s resolutions as a shareholder will, of course, remain unaffected.
If you have any questions, please refer to our FAQ or contact us at (hello@fides.technology).
We look forward to welcoming you to Fides!
