What are the company's registration documents?

The company's registration documents are all documents that a company must provide. For most German companies the registration documents include

  • the excerpt from the commercial register,
  • a shareholders' list and 
  • the Articles of Association.

If a company does not have an entry in the commercial register, a protocol of the formation of the company or Certificate of Incorporation suffices.

However, for non-German companies these information may vary.
