Deep Dive: Committees
1. Access rights
- Committee Members that are also Members to the company account may - depending on the assigned access rights - access all other information within the company account.
- Committee Members that are not Members to the company account may access only the committee that they are a Member to.
2. What to adjust for a Committee:
- add new committees as well as subcommittees
- add or delete members
- edit the chairperson and vice chairperson
- add / edit a description of the committee's purpose
- assign / upload committee-related documents
- manage the committee-related Resolutions / Approvals / Tasks
- Note: The shareholder committee can't be edited. To edit shareholders, go to the cap table.
Terminology
Committee:
Committees are organisational units of a company. Some committees are mandatory by law, other may be established by the company voluntarily.
Subcommittee:
Subcommittees are part of a committee and consist of their superordinate committee members only. Subcommittees are often established because their members have special rights or the subcommittee shall focus on a certain topic.
