Can I import a Word document?

Yes. You can import Word documents directly into Fides.

To import a document:

1. Open the Document Builder.

2. Click the import icon.

3. Select the Word document you want to upload.

Your document will be imported into the Document Builder, allowing you to reuse existing templates without manually recreating them in Fides.

Note: Support for imported text formatting is currently being expanded. At present, some formatting may not be preserved. Additional formatting options, such as adjusting font sizes, will be available in a future update.
