How do I switch between different companies?

You may want to switch either to another key account (belonging to another company) or to another Fides page (belonging to a group company). 

1. Switching to another key account

If you use Fides for different companies due to different positions you have (e.g. Managing Director of one company and Supervisory Board member of another company), you may switch to the other company's key account. To do that, go to the very left menu and click on the respective icon.

Note: if there is no icon of the other company, you are not (yet) a registered user to this company account. Please check your email for the invitation email and verify your email address or reach out to your contact person within the respective company to initiate an invitation.

2. Switching to another group company page

If your organization consists of more than one company, you may easily switch between the different group companies.

Here is how:

  • The box in the upper left corner displays the entity's page you currently see.
  • Click on the box to open a dropdown menu and choose the company within your group you want to enter.

Note: If you are not created as a Member to each of the group companies separately, the company that you are not a Member to will appear in the drop-down menu, but it will be grayed out. This prevents unauthorized people from gaining access to company information. 

To add a person to a company, a Member with sufficient access rights to the relevant company can invite this person under the "Members" section.
