Who are the authorized representatives of a company?

Authorized representatives are entitled to represent the company solely or jointly with another authorized representative. For example, they may enter into contracts on behalf of and on name of the company.

Hint: If the company is registered in the commercial register, the current extract from the company's commercial register will show the persons authorized to represent the company. 

But watch out: There might be authorized persons not listed in the commercial register (e.g. general agent, proxy).

The following persons are typically the authorized representatives as regards German companies:
