"Received through": How did a shareholder receive his/her shares?
Shareholders may receive their shares on several different ways. In Fides we established 5 categories that you can choose from when editing the shares of a new or existing shareholder:
These categories relate to the following ways of reception:
Purchase of the shares | The shareholder receives the new shares with the formation of the company. |
Incorporation of the company | The new shareholder (= Buyer) receives the already existing shares from the old shareholder (= Seller). |
Capital Increase | The shareholder receives the new shares, that were issued due to a capital increase (and not due to formation). |
Merger | The shareholder receives the shares according to sec. 1 para 1 German Transformation Law (Umwandlungsgesetz) |
Inheritance | Shareholder is successor of the deceased shareholder and receives the already existing shares. |
